We are located at 77 deg. 18 min W. longitude. 44 deg. 29 min N. latitude, on the north shores of lake Ontario. Canada. Our average Seasonal temperatures are 77 deg. in summer, and 4 deg. in winter. Elevation about 700 feet above sea level.

We are near the town of Tweed, (population 900) which is 30 km north of Belleville, Ontario and 200 km north east of Toronto (pop 3.5 million) Essentially a dark sky site.... at least we can see the Milky Way!

Our observatories are located 'in the back forty' of Walter MacDonald's 199 acre farm. On real cold mornings after observing all night, the farm house is our sleeping quarters.
