M-65 and M-66



M-65 and M-66 in Leo A beautiful pair of Galaxies only 21' apart.
M-65 is 7.8' x 1.5' and M-66 is 8' x 2.5' in apparent size with magnitudes of 9.3 and 8.4 respectively.
Imaged at Tweed Ontario 200 km North East of Toronto in a Dark Sky Site.
Equipment: LX-200 Meade 10 inch f3.3 (Focal reduced) and ST-6 camera guided with ST-4 and CCDTrack software.
Exposure: 2 Integrations for a total of 6 minutes at -35 Deg.
Processing: CCDops, Hidden Image, Photo Styler 1.0 With focal reducer both galaxies are in same CCD field of view.
