IC-342
IC-342 A huge Spiral Galaxy in Camelopardalis. The apparent size is 15'x15', 1/4 the size of our moon,
with a magnitude of 12. Not visable in telescopes less than 16"
Very faint, like M-33, but not well known because of its lack of brightness.
It was generally regarded as only a long duration photographic item.
Imaged with the ST-6 CCD camera, RGB Tri-colour 9-24-39 minutes
