M-43 in Orion A detached part of the Great Orion Nebula M-42. Size is 20'x15' just larger than the ST-6 camera chip using a focul length of f 6.3. It is some 1300 light years distant. Very close in astronomical terms. Imaged with a ST-6 CCD camera, Tri-colour RGB 5-5-5 minutes.
