Australia 1987
Sky and Telescope arranged an Expedition to Hawaii, Sydney Australia, Alice Springs, and Ayres Rock, to witness the Super Nova of the Century, SN1987a.
The group leader was Dennis diCicco.
We used the first couple of nites to set-up and get Polar aligned in the southern hemisphere (no easy task) and the 3rd night to take pictures. The remaining 4 nights poured rain! But what a delicious few nights to remember!
