Manually scale the image by moving the arrows to bracket the histogram data. The M1 image scales to about 70 in white, and should stay at 0 in black.

How to do it: Pull down the "Contrast" menu, click on "Normal Stretch". Then hold down the button immediately to the right of the word "White" until the upward pointing arrow at right reaches the grey part of the histogram. Finally, click the "OK" button.
