Optec Deep Sky Filter

Picking up where Lumicon left off, the new Optec Deep Sky filter has the same passbands as the Lumicon Deep Sky filter with even better light tranmission! The Optec Deep Sky filter provides improved contrast with faint emission nebula and galaxies.

Designed for Light Pollution Reduction (LPR) the new Optec Deep Sky filter effectively blocks the most offensive emissions from Mercury and Sodium street light sources while still passing as much light as possible.

The narrow band filter has a halfwidth (FWHM) of 3 nm and the wide band filter has a halfwidth of 15 nm.
