AAVSO Bulletin Utility

ABU allows you to import the text version of the AAVSO bulletin and mark which stars in it that you observe. Then it will produce three lists of the stars that you've marked (sorted by RA) for any given month as follows:

• Stars brighter than 11.0
• Stars 11.1-13.4
• Stars 13.5 and fainter

This saves having to go through the bulletin manually each month. When the next year's AAVSO bulletin is imported, ABU remembers which stars you flagged for the previous bulletin, so you don't have to reflag them.

ABU is now available in two versions: one for DOS and one for MS Excel 97 or higher. Both currently contain AAVSO Bulletin 63 (Jan 2000 - Feb 2001).

Just unzip the file in its own directory and consult the READ.ME file.

This version (1.1) contains all the functionality of ABU for DOS, and will even import your old ABU for DOS star list information! Just unzip it and then open it in Excel (it has its own menu and button bar).
