I went to the NYAA Oak Heights dark sky site to observe the total lunar eclipse. Totality was not as dark as last year's eclipse (so the Pinatubo factor is dissapating!). Many fine views of the eclipsed moon amongst the stars of the Hyades were had with the club's excellent 16" Dob (optics by Ceravolo!).
