My sixth night of imaging on the front porch in Oshawa. The sky transparency was not good and there were a few clouds floating around. I imaged M56 and M73 before clouds made it too difficult to stay on a single object for any length of time. In retrospect, my focus turned out to be a little off in M56 (gotta be on the lookout for that focus all the time), but my M73 image turned out OK. Too bad M73 isn't a more interesting object!
So then I decided to prowl the sky and take quick images of various objects in order to test out how much of the CCD chip they would fill up. I was surprised by some of the things I saw. I look forward to imaging many of these objects in the next month or so. Stay tuned.
