As usual, I set up on the front porch in Oshawa. This was the coldest night yet (again): low was 10C. After getting set up, polar aligned, and focused, it clouded over and sprinkles of rain
started. I had to turn everything off and cover it all with plastic bags! It was clear again by midnight, so I imaged from then unil dawn.
I did some test shots at dawn: M1 and M43 are a nice size at f/6.3, but the Flame is too big (it would require a shot for each half)! NGC 1931 and 1514 are a little on the small side (definitely
f/10 objects).
