I imaged from the back yard in Oshawa tonight. Temperature range was from +13C to +7C (session from 21:00 to 03:00). Around 22:30 easterly breezes started to jiggle the scope, so I had to put up
a makeshift shelter with a couple of ladders and an old blanket to reduce the image discard rate.
I imaged NGC4631 and M3; at the end of the session I did test shots of various objects in Draco and Ursa Major. I went 98½ minutes on NGC 4631 -- a new exposure record for me!
| NGC 4631 & 4627 |
98½ minutes (197 x 30s) |
 |
| NGC 4631 (10" f/6.3 LX200). |
| M 3 |
13½ minutes (27 x 30s) |
 |
| M 3 (10" f/6.3 LX200). |
