My first imaging session since Christmas!!! I imaged from Oshawa tonight with the MX9 and HX5. Temperature range was from +3C to 0C (20:00 to 05:00). Shortly after I finished testing a couple of cameras, Abe Slomovitz came over for a few hours to observe CCD imaging up close & personal. Since I was without a port accelerator tonight, I used the MX9 binned 2x2. I imaged NGC 2903, 3628, M53, M64, M3, NGC 5466, and M13.

NGC 2903 16 minutes (32 x 30s)
NGC 2903
Scope: 10" f/6.3 LX200
Camera: MX916 binned 2x2 (23.2x22.4u pixels), then squared.

NGC 3628 24 minutes (48 x 30s)
NGC 3628
Scope: 10" f/6.3 LX200
Camera: MX916 binned 2x2 (23.2x22.4u pixels), then squared.

M53 2½ minutes (5 x 30s)
M53
Scope: 10" f/6.3 LX200
Camera: MX916 binned 2x2 (23.2x22.4u pixels), then squared.

M64 30 minutes (60 x 30s)
M64
Scope: 10" f/6.3 LX200,
Camera: MX916 binned 2x2 (23.2x22.4u pixels), then squared.

M3 5 minutes (10 x 30s)
M3
Scope: 10" f/6.3 LX200
Camera: MX916 binned 2x2 (23.2x22.4u pixels), then squared.

NGC 5466 30 minutes (60 x 30s)
NGC 5466
10" f/6.3 LX200, MX916 binned 2x2 (376x291, 23.2x22.4u pixels).

M13 1 minute (6 x 10s)
M13
10" f/6.3 LX200, HX516 unbinned (660x494, 7.4x7.4u pixels).

M13 1 minute (6 x 10s)
M13
10" f/6.3 LX200, LRGB image (585x415);
MX5C, 43 frames (43x30s) taken on 2000 April 25/26,
HX516, 6 frames (6x10s) taken 2001 March 18/19.
Final L image and colour image were combined with RegiStar.
