After being frustrated by clouds for the previous three consecutive nights, a clear night finally arrived.
I imaged from Oshawa tonight with an MX5C. Doug Clapp came over and imaged with an MX5C also. We had our scopes set up at the front of the house on the front porch/driveway. There were a few mosquitos through the night, but not so many as to ruin enjoyment of the night.
Clouds moved in around 02:30 but it cleared again by 03:00. With the moon up, we saw the beautiful conjuntion of Venus & Saturn along with Aldebaran. The sky again clouded over completely just after 03:30.
I imaged M27, NGC6905, and NGC7009. I had some temporary electrical glitches with my scope which delayed me getting started on 7009 until after it was well west of the meridian and I was not happy with the few untrailed 15-second exposures I was able to get of it. I'll just have to redo 7009 another night.
