I imaged NGC 7023 and 7538 tonight with the MX7C. 7538 was done after an "eighth" moon rose in Gemini around 1am, but the image still turned out quite well. There was no wind tonight, moderate dew, and a temperature range of +17 to +13C. At 00:04 I saw a zero magnitude bolide falling slowly to the SE horizon break into several pieces -- very nice!
