When I opened the door to go out to the observatory late this afternoon, I saw a bat fly by! Here I thought it would be hibernating until April... It was clear at sunset but then clouded over. By 20:00 it was clear again, so I re-started then. The transparency wasn't great tonight and got much worse in the wee hours, so I packed it in just after 3am. Session was from 17:00 to 03:10.
Just for the heck of it, I took a 2 second exposure as the scope was moving and it passed over star #262 (see image below).
