2003 Highlights

2003 was a big year in Astronomy for me. Winchester Observatory* was built on top of the house, tweaked to enable automated CCD imaging, and MGRO* was finally moved from Oshawa. Some visual observing was done, then deep sky CCD imaging, and finally (the bulk of this year's activity) variable star imaging. To top things off, we had clear weather for the November 8th total lunar eclipse.

Next year I look forward to imaging as many DSO's as varstars, as well as more visual work in MGRO and with the 17.5".

Below are some pictorial highlights of 2003.
