Overview
We had 5 clear nights in a row right up to the time I had to leave to attend the AAVSO Spring Meeting in Rockford, Illinois. Then it was pretty much cloudy and/or raining in eastern Ontario for the whole two weeks I was away! It is seldom that the weather cooperates that well!
The SXV-H9 is the imaging camera, with exposures for variable stars of 120 seconds at 4x4 binning (unguided). This month's session notes are below the overview section.

Session Notes
Wed-Sat, May 3-6
I attended the AAVSO Spring Meeting in Rockford, Illinois. It was a great meeting with interesting speakers, great networking opportunities (finally got to meet a lot of people I knew only in cyberspace), and I even gave a talk!
Sun, May 7
I visited Yerkes Observatory in Wisconsin today. It was an excellent tour -- we even got to go for a ride on the floor in the main dome! Wow!
Fri-Mon, May 19-22
I attended the RASC GA in Ottawa -- the best GA I've ever attended! The program was full of cutting-edge astronomical speakers with very interesting talks. We even did some remote imaging with David Levy from the residence building (connecting to his observatory in Arizona over the Internet). Also, I joined the Puckett Supernova Search Team right after hearing Tim Puckett's talk!
