This observatory was originally resident high in the mountains of Colorado. In 1996, it was relocated to its new home at Star Hill Inn. We spent a couple of nights on this 'scope, imaging with an ST-8.

The telescope is an f/8 Ritchey-Chretien, giving a nominal focal length of almost 4800mm -- great for getting up close & personal with all those small galaxies and planetary nebulae... The 24-inch f/8 Ritchey-Chretien.
