Note how the siding juts out from the wall. When the missing wall is replaced, this jutting siding slides in behind the corner trim piece. One of the bolts that holds the wall frames together is visible near the top. Also visible on the inside of the walls (in a regular pattern) are nails used to attach the siding.


If I were doing it again, I'd use a staple gun to attach the siding. Not only is it much easier, I wouldn't have all those nails sticking out! Of course, the nails are only visible because I have chosen not to put any panelling on the inside of the walls. I prefer it this way because the 2x4 framing makes handy shelving for putting eyepieces and other things on.
